Near the conclusion of an incident response or forensic investigation, it is important for clients to resume a "business-as-usual" state, in a secure manner, while also minimizing the likelihood of occurrence of similar events in the future. VSR offers recovery and postmortem analysis services in an advisory capacity to help clients recover from the incident and to mitigate future threats through long-term changes in processes and technologies.

The deliverables for such an analysis include a report outlining the risks associated with critical system architectures and business processes and also contains recommendations to cost-effectively implement security controls and processes to mitigate similar risks in the future.
